Hey,
I just broke down and ordered Jillian Michaels body revolution this morning. I'm starting as soon as it arrives in my mailbox. Is there any advice or encouragement you guys can give right away. Is there anything I should be doing to prepare for this CRAZY workout video set? Right now I'm doing the ellpitical machine at the gym for 30 min and building on to the time as I feel I can handle it.

Welcome :-) I am just finishing week 2 and I really like it so far. My personal take is that I don't love her meal plan but I have adapted her philosophy in a way that works for me. Also the general consensus is that the cables are not fun to use, so if you have others around you could use those instead. Don't be fooled by the first two weeks, lol, she ramps up the intensity fast after that! Lovin' it!

My best advice would be to start drinking a lot of water now, if you don't already. It will keep you hydrated, which is important for your workouts, and will really help you see results on the scale. Water consumption is something I struggle with so, so much, and when I'm on track it really really makes a difference in my ability to push myself physically, as well as in the way I look and feel.0

I ordered it earlier this week and will begin when it arrives as well. I wish you luck! I started upping my water intake and adding to my cardio in preparation. I'll be posting my progress for accountability purposes. I anticipate it will arrive mid-week (19-21) and will begin when it does.

Drink a lot of water! Also, mentally prepare yourself. No matter what you think, you CAN do this! The natural progression really helps.0 -
I agree with others: drink lots of water, and also I personally found little bit hard to workout every day and get into rythm, but then Jillian once said that you have to treat your workouts like an appointment. As soon as you plan your day around your "appointment" you will always find time to exercise. Good luck and welcome :flowerforyou:0
