Sorry I missed all of last week. My M-I-L passed away on Tuesday. She was a fiesty, fun and family oriented lady. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. We had a celebration of her life and feel very blessed that she was apart of our lives for as long as she was.
Now it's the final stretch and I need to get into gear. Hope you all have a successful week.0 -
Sorry for your loss gklangdon. I just can't imagine the pain of that disease for the whole family.

I am still here too. This past three weeks have been crazy with traveling. My middle daughter graduated Navy Bootcamp so we went to the Great Lakes to celebrate that with her. Then she was transported to San Antonio, TX for her base. Since that fell on our week vacation, we decided to spend it there. We had a blast but now it is time to get very busy with the rest of this weight.
I guess I missed some things cause it looks like others are running this. Is there any plans of what we will do after the 2 weeks are over? I want to keep going so badly.0 -
Hi Shelle! Good to hear from you! Congrats to your daughter; that is awesome! Glad you had fun on your vacation. We kind of pitched in to keep it going cause Teresa had a lot of things going on. Not sure what we are going to do after the last two weeks. I haven't been real active but I would like to continue with something.

Hello, All!
Wow...I don't know what happened the past week or 2 but things have kept me unfocused here. I have been logging on MFP but not finding this thread or following up well. ANYway, glad to see you all here. I have been walking each day and trying to get some weight training in but must admit that without our formal "challenge exercises" to do, I haven't done as much as I was:grumble:
gklangdon: I am so sorry for your family's loss. Will be thinking of you all.
I did pretty well with my calories yesterday but was not so great today. Have to get back to more focus with this all!

Our internet (DSL) has been cut twice in the past 5 days while road crews are working putting service to a house past us on the island. They also cut our water line:grumble: :grumble: so things have been interesting and I haven't been online until tonight in the past few days...so I am behind.,,,again!

Thanks to all for the condolences. My husband & I made a short trip to Branson, MO to get away from everything for a few days. Came back knowing I probably gained, but to my utter amazement I'd lost!! I'm under 200 now...198.9. Being under 200 was one of my goals, so I'm super excited!! Now I get a manicure and pedicure by a professional, not just my grandkids! LOL
I may not have done all the exercises this week or been below my calories, but I feel so much better.
