Hi - I am on week 2 and a colleague of mine just started month 2. Her suggestion to me was to push through the first week and your muscles will start to feel better by Friday/Saturday of week 1. She was definitely right, I used her words as motivation to get through the first week and I am not as sore as I was first week. I still cannot get through all the workouts, especially level 1 & level 2 drills, but I am better than I was first week.
Good Luck!!!0 -
I'm on day 7 (rest day) of month 1, feel free to add me
BTW, I was really sore too the first couple days, but it gets better. Day 4 is easier and will give you a chance to recuperate.0 -
I'm on month 2. Please feel free to add me. My piece of advise for insanity is that since the whole exercise is based on "Max Intensity Interval" concept, you will get more benefit if you stick to the whole set and take a longer break. Remember, it's the intensity that count, not the reps. I always tell myself to take an extra 30sec pause during the 30sec break even though i didn't need it because I want to make sure that I can be as intense as possible during the set. Again, the more intense you workout, the longer your body gonna keep burning the fat after the workout.
Any way, I was pretty fit & flexible when I started (soccer, yoga, etc). Please be careful no to INJURE yourself. Again, I used the word "injure" because the "hurt" is always gonna be there... Hurt is temporary, dig deeper.
Good Luck. and have fun.0 -
