Wow. I watched Food Inc for the first time last night. I don't want to eat conventional food ever again....

If youhaven't seen it, you should watch it. It's great inspiration to eat right and buy from your farmers market.

Food Inc was good. Reading "The Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan was even more eye-opening to me. The first section on the industrial food chain? Ugh...

I completely agree - I watched Food Inc first, and then read Omnivore's Dilemma. Completely eye opening - highly recommend reading it.

I also highly recommend "Fathead" and "Farmageddon."

There was a recent BBC show on the history of cereal. Did you know cereal was originally a sugar-free bland flake fed to patients in a mental hospital? That show was fascinating. If you search on youtube for "food that made billions" you should find it.
