just wondered how everyone was doing. i made some mistakes today (monday) after allowing myself some excesses this weekend. I just have to figure out how to rein it in. the rest of this week i am determined to make true N days. I know chocolate is my downfall and I just need to figure out how to stay away from it!

first week has gone great, lost 0.8 lbs yay!!! ... My normal time (i have just discovered) for a snack is in between lunch and dinner ..... So now I am trying to have a glass of milk to tide me over. I tried having a larger lunch, but in all honesty eating larger meals can make me feel bloated.

I am doing well with no sweets and no seconds! In fact, I haven't had seconds or sweets since last Friday when I started.

    Yay!

The no snacks is proving difficult. I have had really, really small snacks late at night -- three pretzels, two crackers -- just enough to ease the growls and soak up some wine. ;)

I have added a small glass of milk to my breakfast each day and that has helped a lot. I need to eat more lunch though.

just remember, you are allowed the S's on the days that start with S, so you can have them then if you want them!

I began this week. I have done fine for the 3 days.

I rarely have an issue with snacking, as I'm pretty much programmed now to not eat between meals. Sometimes I've gotten mindless with this, but overall, snacking is not an issue.

It is going to take me a while to really settle in. I've been primal for coming up on 2 years, but I get into weeks when I crave wheat and sugar. So my weight has stalled for a year. I know that I do better not eating gluten grains, and do best with very few grains. I think it's going to take time for my body to sort this out, now that I have permission to eat what I want in the 1 plate/3 meals format.

Part of me wants to go with giving myself permission to eat in this NoS framework, and part of me wants to stay away from most grains. So I think I will not punish myself and let my body's wisdom sort this out.

One more thing: I only have 1 day off and it's Friday. So I will do my S days Friday and Saturday.

    Sorry for the novel!

I am doing really well this week (except Monday) but Tuesday-today have been good. Just need to get through today making good choices. Then it's S days and that means I can relax a little. I think I'm going to like this. Just need to keep the weekends from getting too crazy! :)

I'm on week 2, week 1 went well. I was not happy with how my 2nd S day went, but I'm not going to stress about it. My weight is down a bit, so that's good.

I'm at a convention this week which poses enormous challenges, but I am determined. Day 1 (travel day) went well. 3 plates. No snacks, no sweets, no seconds. Score!

    Week 2

Doing very well with the no seconds.

Had one small dessert last Saturday at a party. First one in two weeks.

Still struggling with snacking. There is too much time between dinner and bedtime. Something to keep working on....

that is great, glad you are doing well with the "no seconds" rule. i am having some trouble with that. I think i just need to start putting everythign on one plate and sticking with that. the snacking one has never been that hard for me. i just tend to overdo it during the actual meal.

I do very well at the "no seconds" - it's the snacks I am having trouble with.
