anyone around 140lbs?

Hi there,

I just signed up to MFP and am looking to lose those pesky final 6-7lbs. I'm 5"6ish and 140lbs at the moment, would like to be about 133-134 by the time I go on a beach holiday later this year!

Would love to connect with anyone who has about the same amount to lose, or who's about my weight currently. Feel free to add me, I could definitely do with help keeping motivated right now! :smile:

    I am 5"6 and 145 and subtracting.....
    I am trying to get to 130 as well! I'll add you, hopefully we can encourage each other.

    im 5'4 and 141.2 lbs. im trying to get around 125-130. ive been doing this alone on here ( seriously i know no one on here so i have no friends on here ) but would love some help to keep motivated !! i feel lame to say that but my bf and mom were on here and they gave up so its just me left.

    I am 5'5 and currently at 137, goal is 135 but I am really focusing on toning right now. Started out just over 150. Love having similarly sized friends on here! :)

    Hi there, I am 5'4" and am always just hovering above 140. 130 would be a dream, and I would be quite happy even with 135!

    Im 5'6 and about 143.5 i think (thats what the scale said last time I weighed myself, but I just don't believe it, because I was 145.5 2 days earlier, same scale though) I started at 149 a few weeks ago. Looking to get down to 128! Just a number I came up with but If I end up getting toned at a higher weight than that, that is fine too. :)
  • HI! I'm 5'6 and weigh 139. I want to get down to 130 before college and cannot eat past 6. I wish I had a faster metabolism, but at least I know this before college that I can't be one of those people that can eat anything I want and still lose weight haha.

    Hi! I have 6lbs left to lose! my goal is 130lb and currently just over 136! I go on holiday in 53days and so determined to get there for it! what are you doing to lose it? as of tomorrow i am determined to up my workouts to 5 times a week and have just dropped my kcal goal by 200. the last stretch is always the hardest!

    I'm 5'6'' and about 142-145 (fluctuates a lot during the day). I'm trying to get toned and maybe shed a little body fat too!

    I'm 141lbs right now. It feels like I've been in the low 140's forever haha (I've been here since April) I really want to just be able to see 139 or maybe 138 on the scale haha. My ultimate goal weight is 128lbs though, but I gotta get into the 130's first.

    I'm 5' 5" and I'm out 137. I had gotten to 130 last year, but I didn't exercise over the winter and it's creeping back. I really need to tone. My goal is about 125. I'm 44. Any advice on keeping a young, vital look? I've noticed my skin sagging around my neck with my loss. I started my original weight loss around 2 years ago and came down from 154.

    I'm 5'5 and 143... Story of my life is go from 125-143 (Yes, I'm at the very top)... I find it the hardest that people say that I don't need to lose weight, so when there is a cookie.. or another glass of wine.. I think it's ok! But, I'm the happiest and feel the best in my clothes at 125, so I am really serious about changing my habits, so I can be stable. Are you working out or focusing on diet or both?
  • I am 5'4" and 139 lbs and I'm trying to get down to 115-120. I struggle with being able to eat 1200 calories in a day and I gained weight while being away at school.

    I'm 5' 6" and currently 142 lbs (down from 152 in January). I have a tendancy to fluctuate by about 10 lbs throughout the year and this is usually my lowest before it starts creeping back again (usually after my summer holiday!)

    I'd love to get under 140 to see how I look and how manageable it is to maintain.

    I am 5'6" trying to lose the last 10 pregnancy pounds (baby is 4yrs lol). I am 142.8 and my LTG is 135 lbs. But right after I hit that I am gonna try for 127, because that is my dream sexy weight lol, and I do better when I am striving for greatness!

    5'7'' here and 140 lbs, looking to weigh 130. Im focusing a lot on strength exercises, but how many calories are you guys that are around my height eating?

    I'm 5'3" and currently at 137lb from 143lb. Would LOVE to get back to 115-120lb. I haven't been that size in years! I need to lose and build muscle. Anyone similar?

    Hi. I'm 5'7" and at the moment am 144 lbs. My goal is to be around 130 in a few months. I'm middle-aged and find that I don't drop the weight nor the inches like I did in my 30's. I just started using this app this week and find it helpful. I haven't lost any weight yet, but feel pretty good. My shorts a little looser.

    I just started on MFP and I'm looking for people who are like me. I'm 5'7" and 145 lbs, but aiming for 120-125. Anyone have any tips on not gaining back the weight (which has happened before) , getting a toned physique, and staying psyched once I get to my goal?

    I'm 5'4 as well and currently around 135. Just need to loss these stupid 15 Pounds! 120 will be awesome when I get back there. I miss 120 :(
