Have any of you had changes in your menstral cycle since doing EM2WL? This is my first cycle since doing the reset and I started later than normal AND it's been horrible!!!!! Before I had kids I had terrible periods, with a lot of pain, and heavier. Back to that this month! My husband swears its because my body is finally getting back to normal. Any thoughts?

Oh yeah, mine came late, cramps from hell and heavy the first 3 days among other unnerving things. Definitely different.

...now I'm almost wondering if that's what's somewhat behind the increase in endometriosis misery for me the last few months. That would suck utterly; hopefully its a temporary body adjustment thing...

I have endometriosis too! And since having a laproscopy and being on hormones for it a few years back, I haven't had issues.

I noticed that this month too thought it was only me! I have PCOS and endo....i had increased over the last few weeks my cal intake prior to doing the reset. When ive noticed this before my specialist told me increased exercise leads to increase eostrogen which can cause this as well

It's hard for me to tell because not only do I have PCOS, but I just had a baby in January, was on birth control for a few months, and now I'm back off it (can't handle the hormones). I tried to take a different kind and had to stop after 2 days because it made me really sick and I had two periods 12 days apart. So I've been screwed up for 5 months and who knows what the exercise is doing lol

Oh yeah, Ive seen it for a few months now! Period is late, starts of light then Bam! its sore as hell and heavy as hell for 2-3 days.
It must be the exercising for sure...but other than that Ive never felt so good and healthy in a very long time, so Im fine with just dealing.
    Somewhat fine... :ohwell:

I've been working out the same, so I know it's not the exercising. Oh well. As long as my body is getting back in order, I am fine with it. I've dealt with all my life, so it's nothing I can't handle again.

I have noticed some changes but it is hard to know if its related to eating more. Tom has been different since the birth and breastfeeding of my last two babies. My last baby will be three in August. She was a breast milk die hard but I have had almost a year now having TOM back and IMO plenty of time to sort itself out and get back to normal. Wishful thinking!

When I first started EM2WL TOM came almost a week early. Second time came basically on time but still was different (not to get too into details) Plenty of bloating and big PMS but really short. Now TOM will be coming the middle/end of next week and I am already having terrible PMS. OK, not terrible, but annoying and I am hoping its PMS to blame anyway and hoping its TOM coming a tad early since I am going on a vaca next Thurs.

I am eating more foods, which definitely means more carbs and sodium than what I normally did in the past with lower calories so it could be that, too. I have always exercised and I actually have been cutting back and allowing myself to be a little lazy throughout the day verses constant go, on my feet only and 2hrs of exercise per day. Hopefully things will even out when I cut and then have TOM!
