    Awesome!! You need to use the IMG code and change the capital IMG to lowercase img (stupid system, if you ask me).

    I was just thinking we should do this. I'm not done yet, but here's where I am. I started at 340 lb., but I don't have a pic from my highest weight. I've lost almost 70 lb. now. I had the LapBand in 2010. My goal weight is 160 lb. (I'm 5'10").

    Before = July 26, 2011 - 466 pounds
    Rny = 4/23/2012 - 341 pounds
    During = 6/25/2012 = 320 pounds

    Still have a long way to go.

    I'm new to the group and only had my RNY on June 18th, but I'm finding all of your honest posts extremely helpful. Thank s to all of you who share so freely of yourselves.
    Meanwhile, what are SPANXs?

    Can someone with tech savvy and patience please tell me how to post a picture? I'm feeling brilliant simply because I managed to add my photo to my profile. :) lol.
  • Great Topic. I will try to post mine tonight

    SPANX are sort of like footless pantyhose, but they have come out in different forms. They are used to help hold in excess skin and chub a bit. Many people use them after significant weight loss to help with the excess weight.

    Thanks for the explanation on SPANX. I'm only one week post op and the doctor told me again today that walking is the extent of the exercise he would approve. Rats! However, once I'm on that bicycle, I'll look for some of these. :)

    in these pics im about 135

    thinnest i got was 126. and everyone said i looked like a drug addict. decided i could cheat a lil to gain some weight back.

    and now ive gotten into some bad habits.

    id pretty much been eating anything, and a lot of slider foods. plus been drinking with my meals and not drinking any protein.

    today was my first day back on track!

    im about 150 now and decided to stop before that number gets any higher!

    You look awesome, maylene1853!! Good for you for getting back on track before it gets out of control.
  • thanks! im just kinda lost with whats expected when out so far from surgery, how much protein should i be taking in daily?? and i unfortunately think i may have stretched my pouch a little since i can eat way more now then after surgery. for example before i could barely eat half a mcdouble now i can eat a whole one and like 3-5 fries and some diet soda! and i have a bad swedish fish habit i can eat them nonstop all day long! i need a lil help cuz mentally i knew i shouldnt be eating the crap that i eat and i eat it anyways. even tho sometimes i new i will get stomachache from it! anyone else got this issue??
