It's the weekend!

So what does everyone have planned this weekend?
Tonight one of the meet up groups I am active in is having a meet and greet at a beer garden. So far there is about 75 people signed up to go so it should be a good time even if it is going to be 106 degrees out.
Saturday I am going to be doing house chores and/or seeing a movie. Thinking about calling my friend to see if she wants to see Magic Mike. Going to try to stay in the air conditioning.
Sunday I have a softball game. Oh and the guy I met at trampoline dodgeball is now on my team, but I think he is out of town this weekend.
No dates or anything planned.

That sounds fun! Careful in the heat... I was about to die yesterday! And what is trampoline dodgeball?! Sounds dangerous.
I'm gonna go to my cottage today, then my friend's cottage tomorrow. I have to work Sunday so I'll probably just stay for the day.

Oh all the things I won't be doing...
It's pretty much a working weekend, but that does entail 2-3 nights at bars this weekend.
Tonight I have to go check out a venue for our show, looks like we may be doing 2-3 shows a month now, which would be amazing in my opinion.
Tomorrow I have to run all over creation to get lights, set up our curtain at the venue for Sunday, get a haircut/shave to look presentable at the show Sunday, deal with the air conditioning guy because my compressor is leaking, and maybe actually have a little bit of time for myself to go out to dinner alone and then to the bar alone, because well, that's how I roll. :-P
Sunday I have an event from 12pm to 8pm, then our show from 8pm to 2am.
I'm so glad I'm taking Monday off. Really though, shouldn't women be throwing themselves at me since I have the ability to get them on stage? Someone lied about this creative control crap!0 -
I'm out tonight, for a friends birthday - fun and frolics in the pub :bigsmile:
I was working tomorrow, but doesnt look like they have any appointments for me, so I'll have a happy hangover :laugh:

I'm going to try to get an oil change this afternoon and do some cardio at the gym since it is too hot to do it outside. The wait at the the dealership was 1 hr 45 minutes last night Ugggh. After that, there is an Independnece Day party on the lake tonight that I am going to with some friends. I also need to send a message to a gal I met on match about setting up a lunch date next week. Saturday, I am starting off doing 5-6 miles with my running group and then going to workout with my personal trainer. Sunday is up in the air. I may go to St. Louis and play poker at one of the casinos and have lunch with my dad. I may just hang out at home and go to a college summer league baseball game.0

I'm going camping in Cali with my best girlfriend EVER! Leaving tonight right after work and then will be home Sunday. Hiking all day Saturday... should be fun. Oh, and she's bringing booze... this should be interesting since we're both light-weights! LOL
Dbrightwell -- I got my oil changed yesterday and they friggin' ran out of oil so I waited almost 2 hours and my car was up on the rack about 10 minutes after I got there...0 -
I'm going over to SL's tonight. I haven't seen him since Tuesday so I am going to JUMP THE FVCK out of his bones! I suppose we'll make dinner and just relax since it's the end of the work week. I can't wait.
Saturday we'll be spending the day together, probably fishing, obtaining and possibly shooting fireworks, and cooking. I really want to try a German dish called Rouladen, but he was talking about making a brisket, so we'll see.
Sunday he has duty all day and my roomie's out of town so I'll be hangin out at my house alone. I'm gonna mow the lawn for the first time ever in my life and hopefully get caught up on homework.0 -
Tonight I have a date with a guy I've been seeing the past couple of weeks :smooched: Since it's hot as balls here in Texas I'll probably hit up the pool tomorrow after I get my workout in. No plans for tomorrow night...may just have to go see Magic Mike though

My name is Diana and I've been lost for the last 2-3 weeks. :happy:
My weekend will consist of me moving back to Galveston area.
So I've been doing a lot of thinking these past weeks. My choices, my life, my future, everything came down on me and I went to spend some time with my family to regroup. I talked to my parents and we had a great time. They heard my fears, etc so they offered for me to live in their rental property for very very very cheap if I wanted to go to school full time. I will be working either part time or a stress free full time type of job.
HELL YEAH.
They had been telling me to make the move for a while, but I'm stubborn and I wanted to prove to myself and to others that I'm independent. I am and I have proved that, I can make it but I realize I don't want to simply make it. I want to make myself happy and feel passionate about what I do. So now it's time for me to get my *kitten* together. My divorce "high" is over and reality has set in. Wtf am I doing? I feel like I've been floating around, not pushing forward in general. Don't get me wrong, I have made great strides in certain areas but as far as career wise, nada.
I'm excited for this new chapter. I hate leaving Austin but maybe one day I'll return. I need to do what's best for ME right now and the sooner I'm done, the better.0 -

It sounds like you're making the right choice. Independence and success doesn't matter if you're not happy! Having family around for support definitely helps out in any situation. I miss having my family around!

Friday a friend of mine wants to take me to dinner then a business friend of mine invited me out to karoke. I've never done it plus it's $5 martinis. I'm guessing I'll have a story to tell Monday.

After work, I'm grocery shopping then cleaning my house...sad, but true!
Have a good workout planned for Sat AM and hoping that the cals burned will make up for the liquid cals to be consumed Sat afternoon/evening. My good friend and her hubby are throwing me a birthday pool party. Was a bit of surprise when she told me what she wanted to do, but am definitely looking forward. Gonna be crazy hot in VA this weekend ~ poolside is where its at!
Sunday - TBD, but at least my chores will be done! lol0 -

Oh I forgot to add.. on Saturday night, I'll be going to a party. Last chance to get crazy in Austin and my friend Daniel is celebrating his b-day downtown. My mom will be here though (everybody else will have gone home because I'm staying until Monday due to work) so I'm trying to come up with an excuse as to why I'll be dressed like a hooker going out at 11pm and returning at 2am. I am 33 but my mom thinks I'm 16.0

I'm off to Henley tomorrow and possibly Sunday as well, depending on the weather. Lots of lovely rowers to look at and polite boys in blazers and boaters to talk to. Plus Pimms and Prosecco.

Just arrived into Paris yesterday afternoon (traveling Europe with my daughter (19) and niece (16)). We did the Louvre today. Tomorrow will probably be a hop on hop off bus tour and then a night-time waking tour. Sunday we'll take the train to Brussels for the next stop in our journey.
On another note, my girlfriend is taking her daughter on a cruise (they left yesterday). This will be the first day we haven't at least talked on the phone since the day we met. Four days with no contact is really sucking right now.0 -
I'm babysitting my niece right after work today, then after that going to dinner with my aunt who is in town from Kentucky. Saturday I have nothing planned at all, but going to try to get together with a friend. Sunday I am thinking of hitting an event from one of the meetup groups I joined and packing. I leave for Michigan on Monday for 3 weeks.0

I am headed to a great bar tonight for a friend's moving away party. Granted, she's only moving a few hours away back to SC, but we gotta send her off right.
Saturday is unplanned, but I have options. I'll do my normal Zumba and a stop at the farmer's market. A friend is throwing a BBQ. I'm still planning some shopping this weekend... I'm using my cruise in less than 6 weeks as an excuse, though I'm not sure why I feel the need to justify it, haha! It's my weekend to volunteer (checking in the little ones) at church again so I'll stay for service so I can sleep in Sunday!
Sunday's only plan is to see Magic Mike...I can only imagine how crazy that will be considering how many I women I know will be going, haha....
Looking forward to next week at work actually... almost everyone is on vacation part or all of the week so should be VERY low stress!!0
