I'm new on MFP - needed a food and exercise tracker and like the one here. What day of the week do you weigh in? I hope it's Ok to join this group. I started on a new program on April 8 at 319 and am at 283 now. I like the idea of joining a group in this category as we all know what it's like to be at or over 300lbs. i hope to inspire others as I continue on my journey to a healthier life.0

Ok so I am new to this and am not sure exactly what I weighed when I started. I had thought that I was 340 but as of today I am 320. I know I have been told that it looks like I have lost weight but that is a common compliment to those of us who are as I like to say "super sized".
I am glad to have found a group that is for people over 300 lbs cause lets be real about it our challenges and goals are different from the size 6 that wants to be a size 2.
I have nothing against those people because they want the same thing we all do. to be smaller. I just have a problem with hearing how fat they are and then looking at myself in the mirror.
Anyway I am looking for a support group and would welcome friends to help me along the way,0 -
