The old saying is "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all". Are we being sensitive to others? Are we supporting one another through the good times and the bad? If we are disturbed about some person, do we not ask them directly what was meant by what was said. Ultimately, we are responsable for our own recovery, spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially. Let's put our big girl panties on and fight this fight together and as individuals. Please comment on how we can support ourselves and others. To thine own self be true!

Getting these negative thoughts out of my head is the biggest challenge of all. If I can change the way I think, I will make these changes in my lifestyle permenant. I have programmed myself over the past 42 years to accept poor health choices as my "normal". My filter is set to seek out anything negative and block the positive. I love the idea with this group: use the site to plan and record my quantitative daily performance; then come here and give a qualitative measurement from my heart 1-10. Yesterday for me was only a 4, but that has no bearing on today. Every morning is a new shot to get it right. This is a very Positive way to go about things.
If its OK with y'all, I won't hike up any "Big Girl Panties". I don't even know what the alturnative for guys would be...but I promise I will do my best.0
