How do you get your cals when you're working nights?

After a year of straight days, I'm back to working nights. Yesterday I was 300 beklow my goal, and today I have almost 1000 cals to get in in the next 2 hours. It's not going to happen. I am planning what I eat in the day but I can't eat if I'm sleeping all day.
Any other shift workers out there?

Smoothies - Make a large smoothie, you can drink half before work and take the rest in a thermo bottle and it will stay cold for a few hours.
Add almond/nut milk, bananas, berries, a tsp of flaxseed oil even if you struggle for cals.
Taking your meal with you in a thermo container is also useful.. just put your leftovers etc in there.
Fresh dates are compact & packed with nutrition. Medjool dates are about 50 cals for 1 date.
Other ideas are dried fruit or nuts for easy to take with you & easy to get in cals.0
