Having trouble eating enough .......

I just started Insanity on 7-12-12. I typically only eat "living food" - vegetables, lean protein, whole grains (excluding wheat - gluten allergy) and I avoid dairy (as I am allergic to casein).
I am having serious troubles getting my caloric intake up to what the calculation says it should be to lose weight.
I am at 184 today - I want to be 135 ultimately at age 46.

I take little baggies of vegetables, fruits, seeds and nuts to work. I cannot drink protein drinks - as they are whey protein and have gluten present.

Seems like I am going to have to be eating constantly - if all I can eat is protein, fruit and vegetables.

Ya know, I think I need to see a specialist to determine if I have a gluten allergy! I have some serious problems that came about after my first pregnancy and it is quite bothersome! And if I do have this same issue then I am going to have to figure out some alternatives as well!

I know Im not eating enough calories but I don't know what to do about it.. I eat when Im hungry and I don't snack on junk food.I just can't seem to get the last bit of my calories in me. I have also gained a pound this week not sure how Im gonna change some things up and see if that works.
  • PROBLEM SOLVED...
I finally found a gluten free protein drink that is plant based, has enzymes, probiotics and lots of gut calming herbs...I am back on track. My stomach inflammation has gone down tremendously, I have more energy that I ever thought possible. I feel amazing.
I can't post the name of the company or product - because I actually am now involved...so I don't want to look like I am soliciting. I am not. I am just saying - there is HOPE for all who struggle with gluten allergies.

If you do a search on plant based, pea protein, gluten free, casein free - you will find something ...and I have learned that this is the best way to get your calories in for the day...without blowing the healthy eating.

Oh...BTW...I had gained 9 lbs back over the summer - and was so bloated I could barely workout. After starting the protein and getting my calories right - I lost all that inflammation immediately.
    So ya'll keep trying...
