    Hey Week 3.This is good.:laugh:
    Did the core synergistics today and am getting stronger, could do banana and superman today!!!
    Going to reset my HRM with fitness test in the morning. feel I should be registering more for the effort.Just 285 cals for today:grumble: .

    Week 3, Day 1: Ran 3 miles and Core Synergistics are done! Today, I started a new challenge.. I like to have a glass of wine almost every single day of the week and even though I always have the calories for it, I believe it is effecting my results. So, as of today.. I am cutting waaay back.. maybe only have 1 glass on the weekends.. Wish me luck! ~Tina

    Sorry guys, will get to W3D1 tomorrow. a doubles day for me. I was in the city today having my pre-op appointment and they tried to take blood from my right arm, and nothing came out-so they went for my left arm, yay, blood! but boo, no ST til tomorrow. Bruises already forming. Then it was a quick trip to walmart for Warrior Dash clothes, then Costco, then home. Arms aching from driving the pickup and the needles. Chest and Back and ARX tomorrow am. followed by some RushFit at mom's and maybe some spartacus if my arms are up for it.

    You sure are going to make up for it today .BTW I think yesterday's trauma to your poor arms was enough exercise in itself .

    I have to be honest ... I missed two days last week (days 5 & 6). Unexpected guests at the home, not getting up early, making excuses. All my fault, really. But I was back today with a vengeance, and felt all the better for doing it (even when my roommate tried to convince me that I shouldn't work out so close to "bedtime"). Plyo tomorrow - here I come!

    Morning all, little circles of blue in both elbows but otherwise feeling ok. Never ad pre-op before so had the nervousness of the unknown happening, then the adrenaline rush when it was over, plus the hunger as I ate breakfast around 7am and then no lunch til 1:30. argh! only just over my calories for the day but heavy carbs. today: lean lean lean and veggies! got lots of strawberries yesterday as well!

    Chest and Back and ARX done! now to my mom's for some cardio! (if I do it with her, I know she's getting it in!)

    Week 3 Day 2. Cardio X completed and 5k run .Fitness test on HRM went well.Getting fitter according to VO2 reading.
    Thanks _SASX_ tried out your tips for the kenpo moves in cardio and could feel a big difference. Delighted, can't wait for Kenpo on Sat..

    Week 3, Day 2: 25 minutes of Tabata & Cardio X Done. I am so thankful for this group.. It is really helping me stay on track!

    Got in cardio-RushFit Fight today, HRM didn't work *grumble*, and if I'm up for it, spartacus later-we shall see.

    Lil'G started running a fever while at my mom's :( poor kid. no swimming lessons for him today. just cool-air con at home

    Big surprise for me, yesterday a good friend gave us tickets for Bruce Springsteen playing in Dublin tonight:love: .Soooo excited now after doing a good workout this am.
    Wont be posting my food today but going to rock it up anyway.!!!!:drinker:

    never got shoulders and arms done the yesterday. Lil'G still had a fever yesterday and I had another appointment, plus it was DH's b-day. and after carrying Lil'G around my shoulder is a little wonky. so none today, too. But I did get plyo in and I kicked *kitten*, even though my thighs were burning before I finished the first circuit. tomorrow is rest day as Saturday is my Warrior Dash! I am so excited!!

    Tried to do yoga today ... so not a good day for yoga. I hate it so much. How do I stay motivated to do something I abhor. I see my strength and flexibility improving, but I can't get past how much I hate it. I quit in the middle today. I have to make it up some way. I might switch to core instead, but then I feel like I'd have been beaten by my self if I do. I'll just keep plugging away. *sigh* :explode:

    Ok. Back from a awesome show.The Boss sure brings it, at 62, he's fit and fab.Jumping all over the stage for THREE HOURS.
    I bet he started with P90X :laugh:
    Well inspired to do Kenpo tonight instead of Yoga.(Couldnt find time for 90mins)
    Finished 345 cal burn.Got the moves better thanks to the tips .

    Allyjoy : Hope you dont mind my comment. Dont think about how much you hate it .Turn that thought around to how you are getting a chance to get strong on the sly.You didnt quit today!! You STARTED IT and YOU decided how far you went today.Next time you are going to rock that workout..

    Week 3, Day 4: 25 minutes of Tabata and 60 minutes of Yoga. I didn't do P90X yoga because it is just toooo long. So, I did Bob Harpers Inside-out Yoga.. Just as challenging as P90X, but shorter! I was able to do the wheel.. oh, and he doesn't do the crane, but I did it anyways because I love the challenge-- held it for 20 seconds! Boo-ya!!

    I'm not big on yogax either. I'd rather do the last part of the yoga than all the savasanas (that's right, right?) But Bob Harpre's yoga is better.

    Fizzy, glad the show was great!

    Today I'm thinking of yoga (Bob Harper) or stretch so that it's not my official rest day. I'm not doing any st or cardio today.

    Been good the last couple of days ... no quitting in the middle. Even made sure I had time to do Kenpo before I came into work today. Feeling good :)

    Ok Changed days again.The sun was shining here so I went for 20 mile Bike ride this morning ,
    Will do Yoga tomorrow promise :-)

    Week 3, day 4: ran 3 miles, and but did not do p90x because I ran out of time.. Week 3, day 6: kenpo x is done even after spending the whole day at a soccer tournament... So tired now... Have a great Sundays everyone!
