I agree with you both on the fakers!
The things I miss most about Jamaica are:
- Being neighbourly: Here in the UK, you could live next to people for years and don't know who they are. It comes in handy at times as it means people are good at minding their own business but it definitely also has its disadvantages.
- Everyone greets you with a smile: Here I am convinced it is a crime to smile and be friendly. People look on you funny if you are too friendly lol.
- Movie Releases: Most popular films seems to get released here months after the rest of the world has seen it. For a first world country we are really backward in this area!
- Grandmarket: Christmas just aint the same here.
- The food: Everthing just tastes nicer back home
- Sunshine: It's been about 4 or 5 years since the UK had a decent summer. I am convinced it is the lack of sunshine why the people are so grim
- Laid back lifestyle: Here, everyone seems to be in a rush all the time0 -
Thank God I am still in Jamaica for the most part then. Nothing like a good Jamaican Christmas breeze....not the white mushy stuff and freezing cold...just a nice light airy breeze of Christmas.0

I miss the community feel but I'm a slight recluse to I have my moments when I love how the UK is in terms of that LOL. I miss Jamaica, I can't really pick one thing, I just love the feeling of being home. I just wish I wasn't so scared about being on the road when I'm there. I'm parro as hell boy. On The Ground News Report mek mi fraid.0
