    It's ridiculously addicting.

A friend of mine just started playing last week. Blew me off (which is rare - this is the same guy who blew off a friend and his brother who were playing COD in his room to spend time talking to me online, and who is coming home early from a vacation to play games with me before I move to Korea... I think me might like me, haha) to spend 8 hours digging a hole. It must be addicting!

I got it last night but haven't had a chance to play yet.

I guess I'm about to buy the PC version.
I dunno if I should involve myself with single player or get on a multiplayer map with someone. I don't wanna pull out a diamond pickaxe and have it stolen from me. :(

I bought the beta version for $16 when they were first testing it out (at a friend's insistence; I thought it looked stupid but I hate to be left out) and then when I saw all the crazy things they were building on the multi-player server I got really interested.

One of my good friends and I (both being Power Rangers nuts) terraformed a desert biome, took screen shots of the Command Center building from GoogleMaps, and built the Command Center, complete with colored power tubes. (This was all before creative mode had been released--can you say scaffoldings??)

Then came a critical update that necessitated nuking our entire server, shortly after we'd installed the ceiling in the Command Center. That threw me out of the game for a very long time, since I was a little upset. Then I went and visited my friend in China, who showed me all the new things that were happening on the new server...including an impressive sailing vessel in the middle of the air...

Well, long story short, we decided to gift the maker of said ship with a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea flying squid experience... and I've been in and out of the game ever since.

Recently started watching the Mindcrack server prank wars videos from VintageBeef and party on YouTube, and it inspired me to start my own survival mode world for the very first time. I'm hollowing out a cave , leaving only dirt in place. I intend to build an underground city like in the "Hollow Kingdom" book series. ^_^
