Just Dumped Actos

So far I've lost 18 lb. This morning I discontinued actos. A month ago or so I discontinued Januvia. Also my blood pressure is nice and low on half my losartan dose.

My remaining meds (for DM2):

Metformin 1g twice a day
Losartan 50 mg once a day
Aspirin 81 mg once a day
Mevacor 40mg once a day
CoQ10 100mg twice a day

Next goal will be to cut my metformin dose in half when I get below 190 lb which is 4 pounds away. Then I'm done cutting meds.

    Good for you. Actos was one of the four drugs I was put on when first diagnosed. I hated it. It caused my feet and ankles to balloon up with fluid as well as messed with my skin. It was terrible for me. I hate Actos!

    Good for you! I haven' t gotten that far yet but I'm on my way. I'm on Actos also. It would be great to NOT BE on it.
