Hi everyone! I'm new to MFP. I just had a baby and work full time so I can't get out to the gym very often to workout. What fitness DVD's would you recommend that get results? Also, feel free to friend me so we can motivate eachother.

Simmons. But. Since I no longer have a DVD. Player. I'm using my ON DEMAND (COMCAST.) They have alot of workouts free tii I'm sure. Direct TV have too but yeah I try to fit n 2 30mins I get bored easily. So I usually to the hip-hop dance one or Kim k one

Welcome to the group!!! Also I have a soon to be 18 month old little man and have 33lbs left to lose. I started out doing Brazilian Butt Lift which a Beachbody Workout program you can purchase online. But now I am doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred which is a pretty intense 20 minute circuit training workout. The fact that it is only 20 minutes leaves me with no excuses not to get it done. I have lost 4lbs and a few inches my first 2 weeks on it. All of Jillians DVDs are known to get great results. Good luck!!!

I just do Leslie Sansone's 5 mile Fat Burning DVD. It's just basic walking, practically anyone can do it. The challenge is the speed, she goes at 5mph! But it is a gentle yet effective workout.

I think it depends on what you want are you trying to tone and gain some muscles as well as burn fat? I also just had a baby I'm 63lbs down now! I like DVD's by the FIRM there great because they do a serious cardio segment and just when you don't think you can do another squat jump they stop and do a weight segment you can actually buy and look at a trailer of their DVDs and many more at collagevideo.com. I also like Cathy,, Patrick Goadeu, and Kelly Coffee (her kickboxing step is amazing!!) but, there work out's are tough! Good luck!!

I have this DVD set? How do you count this..as vigorous walking? I've been counting it as low aerobics :ohwell:

I think I'm going to try Jillian Michaels. That seems to be what the majority of people recommend. I'm trying to lose weight s well as tone my stoamch, legs, and arms. I do zumba workouts on the Kinect and walk with my stroller most days butI need something to kick me into high gear. Thanks for the input ladies.

    Hi all--

I'm new to the group as well. I LOVE those 10 minute solution DVDs at Walmart. I think they're like $5-$9. If I'm in Zumba class, it's easy for me to dance for 60 minutes. At home? Not so much. So having those 10 minute DVDs work because I have absolutely NO excuse not to do at least 10 minutes of exercise. Plus, when I add it on my exercise diary...seeing how it deducts from my total calories for the day makes it all worth it. The one I'm doing now has 6 total workouts on it (2 are cardio) that are from 8-12 minutes long. It's called Gold's Gym Tone a Tighter Tush & I got it for $5. You will feel the burn after 2 minutes! Trust me!

I had never heard of Tiffany Rothe...but I looked up some of her stuff on Youtube. The music alone made me want to workout! Gonna add her into my mix!
