BMR vs 1200?

Hi, I just calculated my BMR and its around 1400 calories. Should this be my daily goal or should I leave it at 1220?

Not quite...
BMR is what your body burns to maintain its essential functions - like heart beats and brain waves. That's what you would (theoretically) burn if you stayed in bed all day, not moving. (It means "base metabolic rate")
I took an average of my BMR from a number of tools, did the same for me TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) based on a sedentary job (I work in an office on my heiney all day), and reset my numbers to reflect TDEE minus 500 calcories/ day, to make sure it was always above my BMR.0
