I'd love it if my date was a good enough golfer to make a fun date out of it. Seems like most women I know don't golf though.
See this is actually a great date idea - you could do nine and show her how to golf. I would love that kind of date!0 -
Not sure if this is a sport, but the snowball fight in Dumb & Dumber looked like a hell of a time!0

Pool-but be prepared to lose cause I play all the time and I rock lol:bigsmile:
Laser tag- gotta love a sport that encourages you to chase each other around in dark spaces
paint ball-this only works if shes not a wimp lol
bowling-I love bowling but I'm not very good-- I went out with power plant 1 time to bowl and the guy used to be on a league he killed me :grumble:0 -

Good point. The snowball fight looked fun. I saw that movie many times in the first 10 years after it was released, but haven't seen it in a while.0 -

How about pillow fights? Is that a sport0 -
The hardest part about playing actual sports on a date vs a sporty activity is that if you're not on similar levels it can suck the fun out of it.
For example, I used to golf pretty regularly but, for a variety of reasons, haven't for a few years. I went on an outing last week and it was horrible. Apparently golfing goes into my "use it or lose it" category. I laughed it off at first but it just got more and more uncomfortable as the day went on. This was with friends, I can only imagine if it were a date...0 -

Exactly! Especially if your date is proficient, but you aren’t and he’s NOT patient with you. Seems like guys think you should just “get it” right away and they say they’re willing to teach you but if you start holding them up they get frustrated. I love snowboarding, but I do it so infrequently I generally never get past the green/blue slopes on any given trip. I’ve been on the slopes with someone who got frustrated with my inability to keep up since he loves skiing black diamonds. OTOH, I spent a delightful day with a man who also preferred the greens/some blues and had no problem waiting for me (if needed) at the bottom of the slope.0 -
