It's finally here Olympics 2012 is about to begin.

I'm really excited, I can't wait to see the opening ceremony.

Driving into work at 08.12 listening to church bells peeling, hand bells were ringing,

The 12 hour countdown to 20.12 has officially begun.

Whoa........

Lucky that you got to experience all that this morning! Must be hectic there.

Not hectic for me, I live 150 miles north of London, but I'd of loved to witness the opening ceremony with my own eyes.

I live in East London and work in the city centre. I drove my vespa through London into work this morning and there is an amazing feeling in the air... you can almost touch the expectation and excitement in the air... really amazing times to be in the bug smoke! :0)

We are having an Olympic dinner tonight - Greek salad for a starter, followed by pie, mash and liquor (all home-made so not quite as bad as it sounds and it is a very special occasion!). Will also be glued to the TV during the opening ceremony.

I found my fitness pal and this group yesterday. I had the great experience of coming across Tower Bridge about 11pm last night and what an atmosphere, what a sight of the river and the London landscape. The energy was immense and has really made me motivated to achieve. Come on all, lets go celebrate (sensibly of course) x
