Follow up whole body scan and RAI six years post thyroidectomy
A little nervous about tomorrow's appointment with endocrinogist to find out results from a six year followup for Huerthle cell thyroid cancer. I feel great. I have love 39 pounds since my surgery in 2012. My levels have been below the optimum number to suppress the cancer. I have my fingers crossed.
Frustrated

Nodules
Hay folks. It's been two years since my total thyroidectomy, 1 1/2 years since the RAI, and they have now found a nodule at my most recent ultrasound. Next up, biopsy. How many of you guys have had post-surgical nodules? Was it cancerous again?

Med adjustment
This summer, my doctor is trying to adjust my Levo medicine. She says it is still too high. It has gone from 125 mcg to 100 mcg to 88 mcg currently. I will be retested in four more weeks. I am wondering how low you can go! I have Hurthle cell thyroid cancer. Any thoughts on this?
