Hello! Introducing myself.
I knit and crochet. I have lost about 25 lbs since october. My weight loss has inspired me to knit my very first sweater for myself. I have made lots of baby and kid sweaters but just never wanted to make myself one. If I loss enough to wear a bikini this summer I am gonna knit me one.
new to the group....
hey ladies! just joined the group, and really excited. i love crochet, and have been doing it for nearly half my life. i'm also new to myfitnesspal. so far, so good. have been able to easily stick to the plan. but fearful of falling off the wagon. thinkin maybe i can combine something i love with something i need.
How to get fit while we knit
So I thought it'd be fun if we could collectively come up with ways we could incorporate getting in shape while we are knitting/crocheting/what have you. For example: People who are really coordinated and good at multitasking (not me!) could maybe do squats while they knit! Or we could knit while on the treadmill. lol

Thought I would start a new topic for everyone to share a little about their works in progress.... currently I am working on a diaper cover made in Malabrigo orchid and brilliante for a gift and socks in knitpicks handdyed sock for my FIL. I hate knitting socks for men. They take so loooooong!
