Autumn leaf peeping season will be in like a storm! Have you any plans?
Heyyyyyyyyyyaaaaa! Giving a shout-out to all MFPers in CT! What are your favorite activities based on which New England season it’s pretending to be? 😝 I like spring, summer, and fall hiking and one day I’ll try snow shoes in the winter! I go to the gym - started recently (hooray!) and I enjoy mowing the lawn, gardening,…
I think picking one thing to focus on, even small, will lead to a success. So, for example, meet my sodium goal. Maybe it's small, but achievable. When you accomplish your goal, take a minute every night to recognize that you did it. 54lbs to go.
I'm 41, 5-10, 210. Today I went to see a nutritionist. I've known her for a couple years (she came to me for my trade a few years back) but we never really "talked shop" about her work. A couple hundred amazing women will be playing a sport they love to help those whose lives have been affected by violence. There will…
Anyone know any friendly 5K in the Milford / New Haven area. I looking to diet and exercise for the next 6 weeks to get back in shape. Thanks for any suggestions!

Now that summer is here, it would be great to get outside with my kids and do some hiking. I'm in Lower Fairfield County. Can anyone recommend some nice hiking trails?
Congrats CT MFP! This group now has 500 members! It's a quiet group, let's get it going as we head into 2016. What are your fitness goals for 2016? Mine include running my first 10k and possibly 1/2 marathon by the end of the year. Stay accountable for all my food with logging. And reduce my waistline from a 37 to 34.
Hey guys - A while back I had created a page on Facebook for fitbit users in CT. I finally got around to making a closed fitbit group. Affords a little more privacy and freedom to post. If you have any interest in joining, here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1578214362442959/files/ Just another resource to get…
