Just turned 54 today. I have lost 20 pounds since Nov 28th. Now I want to be that lean, mean, active grandmom. I have had the program for several months, and figured it was time to take the next steps. Started with HIP HOP ABS, now it's time to really get my butt kicked. I just hope I don't break anything.
I used to secretly mock yoga, but now I challenge people to do P90X yoga. I struggle through it this morning and get just as sore from Yoga as I do from some of the other workouts.
I have started P90X a few times now and get through the first few videos. After the first about 3 days I am SOOO sore, that the thought of doing a pushup/pullup right now makes me want to throw up :-/ Does this ever go away? If i push through this for a few weeks, will I get LESS sore after workouts? Any advice is…
A friend of mine (and P90X grad) shared this with me. Figured you guys might like it too! http://jezebel.com/5897580/ranking-the-p90x-supporting-cast-from-worst-to-best
Because I'm not sure if I can...I feel like my stomach is a wee bit smaller but that's about it. I've heard the best results come in phase 3 so I'm looking forward to that. Be honest!
I was pretty surprised!
Did that yoga kick everyones butt or just mine? I lost count of how many times I fell over. Pretty crazy.
Looks like I might be the only one who has added the P90X workouts to the MFP database... I added my calories burned according to my heart rate monitor. I'm 5'2" 132 lbs -- Keep in mind we're all at different fitness levels, and have different resting heart rates, but if you're curious of my example, each dvd is logged…
