today was my second time jogging four miles. i am going to try and get comfortable with it in the next couple of weeks and then increase it by another half a mile. my time was four miles in 49:21, so my average mile is about 12:15. not too shabby, but i'm hoping my speed will increase in time too! how goes it?
hi! my name is stacy, and i completed the c25k program last spring. i have one 5k under my belt and am looking forward to doing some more. but my big goal right now is to up my mileage from 3.4 miles to 5. it sounds so easy, but i think it's so hard! can't wait to meet you all and hear your stories!
or both? i keep wanting to speed train, but anytime i think about it i automatically start pacing myself so that i'll make my distance goal. what is more important? does speed come in time, or do you have to aim and train for it? i've tried running some fartleks before with my husband, but when i did, i became so tired…
