How are you feeling about your weight loss journey?
I am feeling excited and motivated once again for my weight loss journey! That is HUGE for me, because I have realized that I just can't force motivation. Goals
My overall long-term goal is to lose 75 pounds and get to a healthy BMI for the first time in many years. My short-term mini goal is to get to 210 pounds. I currently weigh about 220 pounds. I have been overweight for far too long now. I want my good health back!!!
Exercise ~ Just do it!
Just finished walking on the treadmill for 40 minutes. I burned 285 calories! :D Feelin' good right now! I am glad I did it, which I need to remember the next time I resist hopping on that treadmill. Sometimes, I need to borrow the saying from Nike and "just do it!"
What food program or strategy are you following?
I finally had an appointment with an endocrinologist, who determined that I am INSULIN RESISTANT. It causes my body to hold onto weight, which causes weight gain, which makes me even more insulin resistant, etc. It is a snowball effect.
