Haven't been very hungry lately so not consuming a lot of calories. Also noticed after not doing a dumbbell workout for 2 days and still eating little I gained a couple pounds. Getting tired of the exercise bike though... time to throw in some jogging.
My son bought take-out for the family yesterday and I gave in. Just a soup and salad, but I should've chose something with lower calories, so I gained a little weight back. 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Still making progress, I'm hoping I can stick with this!
Perimenopausal and in 40s. Seems like I need a near perfect diet to see linear weight loss combined with the strength training and cardio I'm doing. It's frustrating!! Maybe I do need to take a little dieting break sometimes though.
Did lower body ab dumbbell workout this morning for 25 minutes. Didn't do dumbbells yesterday and had a bunch of food cravings. Not sure if this is related but I did wake up at 4:30 because of my dog so maybe I was just having them since i was really tired all day...i will find out today i guess...
