I'm responding to your request for advice re: 350 -> 190 goal.

Intermittent Fasting. Do it. 8^)
See Dr. Mindy Pelz and: "Fast Like a Girl", also try & find "Delay, Don't Deny" which used to be her mantra b4 her new "...Girl" book.
I suspect that your biggest issue is WHEN you eat, more that what you eat. IF simply says, "eat between 4pm & 8pm" for example; that's my window, 4 hrs per day. That delay allows the tube that starts at your mouth and ends lower down to completely clear out. This state is the only state of repair for your tube (i.e., "gut"). When you don't let it repair, it can't heal, thus, inflammation.
You probably are more inflamed than overweight! Remove the inflammation & you cannot help but lose weight, i promise you. Fasting innately reduces inflammation.
Fasting also causes "autophagy", which kills low- or non-functioning mitochondria, which is known as "cancer". Dave.
