Sorry I only just saw this! I just did it the MFP way - cut my calories down to a sensible level and try to stick to them. I set my activity to sedentary although I think technically I move more so that gives me some wiggle room, I've got 1740 cals per day but if I go over by 100 or so I'm fine. Just sticking to that works for me although when I get closer to normal weight it gets much tighter obviously! Good luck to you!
