Hi… I’m 59yrs old and surgically induced menopause at 45. All my life I’ve been no more than 110lbs even after 3 children and 6 granddaughters. I started gaining weight like crazy after my cancer surgery. I started exercising and being more conscious of my diet. The scale wouldn’t budge. Absolutely nothing I did worked.

I’ve been doing the exercising with cardio and strength training, OMAD with eating as clean as possible, and 1 cheat day where I do 18:4 intermittent fasting, for 2 months and have lost 12lbs. I probably would have lost more by now, but every so often I binge eat. More importantly, I don’t give up and I go right back to to my OMAD. Instead of thinking of it as a diet. I think of it as a lifestyle. When I get to my ideal weight, I’m planning to stick with 18:4 intermittent fasting.

Hey, I noticed your fantastic, well thought out answers. I am jus starting Keto. 2 days and am feeling the effects of keto flu in a major way. Your post was immensely helpful. I wish more people were interested in helping more than judging. Cheers mate.
