I love this response. I've been losing 2-3 pounds per week and didn't want to break that stride while visiting family during the week of Thanksgiving. Okay. I will try out some of the suggestions here, especially with the NET calories a day thing. My goal weight is 145 pounds. My logic was that if I ate like I was already at that weight, I would eventually get there, which is why I never adjusted the 1500 calories a day thing.

Seriously? I thought as long as I ATE 1500 calories a day, I would be fine whether I exercised or not? (Don't laugh. I really didn't know.)

It varies. My food diary is public. I try to eat one salad a day during the week, but it adds up. And yes, I have a mini-fridge.

Yes. I'm a guy. And I am going by MFP's recommendations. They actually had my calories lower than that. I can't get an exact count because I eat out a lot, so I am sure (I hope?) it is more than 1500.

In all honesty, if you are still tired at this point, I would maybe talk to a doctor about it. Then again, when I dropped almost all sugars from my diet and went to 1500 calories a day, I had a headache for a few days and felt weak for about a week and a half. I'm just now starting to get my energy back.

Are you preparing your own meals or buying them precooked? If the later, a lot of precooked foods bought from stores are very high in sodium.
