If 16 is your furthest, I cannot stress going out really slow and maintaining that slow speed the whole way. My first marathon was the same way. I was doing 13.1 at 6.5 min/mile pace, so I thought I would keep an 8 minute mile, but by mile 17, I was dying. I kept jogging and never stopped, but my legs felt like they filled…

Don't starve the fat off; burn it off.

Eat the dinner. Then, exercise more. It is much healthier to increase your activity levels than it is to try and starve the fat off.

Best thing is to get more active. Join a gym and be around active people. That helps motivation. Then, burn the fat off; don't try to starve it off.

Anger. Yeah, it comes and goes. Lots of feeling do. Often those feelings come more when I do not have enough calories, and my energy is not enough to fuel the workouts and things I want to do. Make sure you burn off the weight and not try to starve it off.

Better than tattoos. Burn off any fat you want; don't try to starve it off.

Man, just the warm up would have smoked me. I would not be able to squat after that.

Okay, these almost got me in trouble at work! I laughed so hard at that the one with laundry basket.

Ah, come one. They are smart pills.

I do and sometimes longer, and that is pretty normal - been married 20 years, too, and have 4 kids. From the comment, I assume that is not the norm for some. Of course, there are shorter times, but an hour is pretty normal. Often, I wish it didn't take so long.

I don't really miss breathing hard at the top of the stairs and not having much energy

Simply, exercise and burn off more than you consume.
-
It depends on which piece of exercise equipment it is on.

Eat and have fun, and then go burn it all of doing something fun, again, like weights, cardio, hiking, running, swimming, etc.
