Thin crust gives an awesome crunch to the pizza too. Honestly, unless it's a crust like Pizza Hut, I don't feel like thicker crust adds anything worth the calories over.

Man, this makes me miss the park I used to run in. There were plenty of wooded areas and unpaved trails for awesome nature sounds. I would do a run a week without anything to listen to there.

Only a calorie deficit is required to lose weight. For some, myself included, it can be a good way to control hunger. I might have to pick up a short chestnut praline soon. I've been eating a lot more winter squash this year and have been enjoying myself a lot. I'm almost done with the acorn squash and have butternut all nice and cooked.

I love and eat pears regularly, but it still shocks me to see how many calories they are. 137 grams of spinach = 38 calories 137 grams of a golden delicious = 78 I'd eat the apple if I wanted a less than 100 calorie snack, but fruit is something I do not eat on my fast days.

Many people recommend viewing your calorie goal on a weekly basis. Personally, I do 5:2 and eat under 590 calories on Mondays and Wednesdays. Even if I'm actually heavier than the scale says, I use the scale to keep track of my trend. I'm good as long as it's downward and not too quick.
