I certainly find it adds several hundred steps when I swim. It would have been really helpful to have a swim mode to avoid that, but it only has run, walk, cardio or other as options.

Weird isn't it? Ive synced it a couple of times in case it hadn't caught up. Will have to see what happens next time I do a run or gym but it's the first time I've seen it record it like that.
