Hiya OK, first off, can you please make your diary public? Will make it much easier for people to give you constructive advice. Next, a few questions:- 1. Are you weighing your food or just measuring/eyeballing portions? 2. Are you eating back your exercise calories? If so, how are you calculating the burn numbers? 3. What…

Yes. This. Making sure I've always got a crisper full of fresh vegies, and a fully stock freezer and pantry. Much faster to cook something up than have to go out somewhere for drive through.

Nothing I can really add that others haven't. I pre-log every day the night before. Sure, I allow some tweaks, but I wont change overall meals. Not only does it make it so much easier to stick to my calories, it means I get the meat out of the freezer well in advance, and have time to shop for any ingredients I'm missing.…

Check if you also changed how much you want to lose per week. That's the most likely thing that will increase your daily goal.
-
Good for you!

I buy the bags with little individual bars in them - average about 80-90 calories. Always make sure I get quality choc. Always pre-log my days and leave room for one, but I've noticed over time that some nights I just didn't want it, found myself reaching for some almonds instead. The last few days don't count of course…

For weight loss you can eat whatever you like so long as you're eating at a deficit. For nutrition, however, you need to pay closer attention to the quality of the food you're eating.
-
Surprising? Not really. CICO - that's what MFP is all about.

As Waldo said, the 6lbs likely included water weight. Don't be disappointed by 1lb this last week, weight loss is seldom linear, just look for an overall downward trend. Think about it this way, you've lost an average of 3.5lbs per week  With regards to the 1,000 calories per day, try to eat to what MFP has given…

Well, I've decided that I'm going to be a special snowflake. This weight IS coming off, and it IS staying off. End of.

Hi Jennifer - it was an easter pack.... no idea if they would have made them slightly bigger or not - just pleased I did weigh them so I would know exactly how much I'm having.
-
Yep - in New Zealand. Not everyone here is from the U.S. Doesn't negate the point though, you cannot be 100% certain that you are eating the recommended serving without weighing (or measuring for liquids).

 I was amusing myself with the thought of people nibbling away at only 60% of an egg.

I flit in and out from time to time. But don't really pay attention to the quiet groups, sadly.

34lbs down since the start of this year!
-
I pre-plan the night before. Helps me to not go over my calories if I have a plan in place. Having said that, it's not set in stone, so I may change things up as I go, but stay within the same calories per meal.

1. Currently 1680 2. Log them but don't eat them back, may do later on. 3. 37lbs in just under 3 months.

Agreed, I can't speak for all of those, but I've been on seroquel for about 14 months. Didn't gain any weight in that time ....... just maintained my previous lardassedness. Since I started MFP in January I've lost 35lbs, while still taking the seroquel. Of course, I'm hardly a control group  YMMV

3 house cats and a guinea pig! I chose house cats as my daughter has two, and I use their weights to illustrate to her how much I've lost. At the moment we're up to 3 Squeaks, and half a Paws!

Cream cheese and a bit of bell pepper relish. nomnomnom

Wow! Really? So it wasn't years of overeating and being a lazy-*kitten* that got me to 364lbs! Totally not my fault then! So, I guess that means I can quit MFP, stop exercising, and stop watching what I eat then, cause based on what you're saying, that wont help me lose weight...... So... it's just coincidence that I've…

It takes 3500 calories to put on a pound, so unless you really let loose, it shouldn't have a negative effect - may just end up maintaining this week. Just keep trucking, this wont even register in the grand scheme

^This. Particularly the bit about just enjoying your grandparents while you have them. Don't spend the meal worrying about silly calories! One day is nothing in the grand scheme of things and at the end of your journey it wont even register as a blip. Just go and have fun.

I use my MFP friends as day to day motivation. I want to see how everyone is doing, so that makes me log in a couple of times a day. Then, seeing their status updates i.e. 'has logged in for X days', 'burned x calories', 'lost x lbs' makes me want to be able to post some myself so that keeps me going each day. As others…

Oh gosh. Edam, feta, parmesan, havarti, manchego, brie, camembert, blue, mozzarella, ricotta.... I LOVE CHEESE!

Dammit, late to the party again.... still....

Meh. It shouldn't be a drama. Easter should not be an excuse to pig out. I will be doing an egg hunt for my daughter like I do every year, and will get a few cadbury creme eggs for myself. However, I will build one egg a day in to my calories.
