The lack of will power is strong here. To say you can't just eat one or a handful or the bag is going to make it hard. The question is do you want to get in shape and lose weight or not? Yes, it takes discipline, but it is worth it and the temptations get easier with time. I no longer have any desire to eat the break room…

I eat chocolate protein bars as a snack. With weight lifting, I want the protein, but it has to fit in my daily limit.

Your attitude needs adjustment. Think of food as fuel for your body. Would you sugar water or diesel fuel in your car? No because it isn't the right fuel. Is that McDonalds good fuel? Nope. Only you can put down the fork.

I have my setting at lightly active. My Apple Watch today says I worked out and burned 630 calories. MFP added 174. I assume the others are part of the "formula" so I don't add my actuals.

I have the original Apple Watch and love it. Since I am a iPhone user and they work great together. I like being able load my workout music on it so I can leave my phone behind. I track individual workouts and calories since I can select elliptical, cycling, rower, etc.

I get undressed and look in the mirror. That is all the motivation I need.

I eat two slices of multi grain with my turkey and cheese sandwich for lunch

Today, I forced my self to consume 1337 calories, 1471 and 1378 the prior two days. I work out between 1.5 and 2 hours doing cardio and lifting. It is leaving me at least 600 calories under my max. For context, I am 56 year old male. 5'9" and 200 lbs. Goal is 175. tips?

My Russian is a little rusty at the moment.

What the heck is a stone weight?

Thanks Jane. It made sense that if I go to the gym for two hours and row, cycle, and elliptical plus weight training and stretching I should enter some of it into MFP.

Can you provide a link to the article?

Wow, just wow.

How long did it take you to transform into that amazing, sexy body?

Great article! Thanks for sharing.

So you are saying that when I burn 750 calories working out I shouldn't count them in my daily formula? My Apple Watch is pretty accurate.

I use my Apple Watch, but MFP is only recording a fraction of my workout (steps). I guess I have add cycling and rowing manually?
-
Now I have to figure out how to actually eat that many calories.

Also back after 2 years and 20 pounds to lose.

Getting from my current 200 to 175 for my daughters wedding next summer.

I don't care what shape you are and that 2012 picture shows you are smoking hot. Enjoy that fact.
