I have been losing an average of 2 lbs per month over the last 3 months. I am not too over weight for my height and so I am fine with this rate. I have seen that all of that loss is not a gradual week by week difference. The scale remains more or less constant for 2-3 weeks and then bingo! there is considerable difference…

15-17% is a right BFP for a normal person. It gets below if you are a high intensity athelete or else requires a real low car diet. But a low carb diet is going to disrupt your running atleast for the first month or so. Getting to 10-12% by itself requires quite some discipline and keeping it at that is even more tough.…

Recently we realized (being vegetarians) that we were going too low on protein and simply by adding more protein she lost 8 lbs in 4 weeks and I lost 4 without…

3 lbs is nothing to panic. How long have you been running ? 3 lbs of muscles from running not seems a possibilty. When you start endurance exercises, your muscles start to store more glycogen which sugar+water. So one or two lbs of variation is quite common in the intial week or two. Clinging on to fat often happens due to…

The human body is an amazing machine. It is capable of putting up with decades of absue.
