Hello all! Congratulations @PlaneMonkey - well done! @jugar - glad to hear your 'behind' is improving- just think how long you've had to accommodate that lump!! And welcome to all the new folk.

Happy spring! energizing time of year to get moving! I haven't been logging, haven't been habit tracking but feel okay about it - trying to take a page from @jugar and bulk up on veggies as much as I can (trying some easy sheet pan recipes & must get the grill going too) and I think of you @Gidgitgoescrazy whenever I…

@jugar PW 153.5 CW 149.5 yo yo yo-ing!! But this time I'm not going to let it bounce back - what dramatic swings I've had and hopefully THAT'S over with. Will focus on heading down to the lower forties...again! More garden work ahead will help. Watching 'Gardeners World' on Amazon Prime with Monty Don - how inspiring and…

@Terytha Great color!

good morning, hurray @jugar, can't wait to see that jeans photo....what a relief you'll feel. After an overall bad week last week, so far this week is going okay - well, except for nibbling around on that marzipan in the fridge that never made it into a baked good over Xmas - but other than that feeling pretty good and…

Good morning all, I have reason to believe that along with a bit of work/home stress, my 52 yr old hormones are messing with me too and maybe, now that I know that, I can take back some control. Great weather here too and spent some time puttering in the garden yesterday...so good. I'm happy to read there are so many…

The best laid plans....yesterday was a complete fail...gave in to stress immediately. Today is a new day - weighed myself too for 'inspiration' and I"ve yoyo-ed right UP no surprise. Today is a new day...today is a new day... The 2 caregivers we were going to reintroduce once mum & dad fully vaccinated (in 2 weeks)...one…

Monday morning on a week that I work from home - this has been challenging for me - today I'm going to try to beat it - eat only what&when I would eat if I had packed my lunch/snacks for the office. Will try to check in tonight to confirm I did it!
-
Yep, I would have called the office "anybody there??"
-
a strange weekend here somehow, eating not so great but I got a good march through the woods today...good for the soul. I somehow hit the chart as a mention for March 1st week but @jugar, I'm sitting on the sidelines this month as I sort my recent yoyo-ing out. Spring weather in the forecast for this week - very…

PW 152.5 CW 149.5 I ate a lot of broccoli :D

good morning, great morning - I feel back on track. I had a lot of reading to catch up on posts. Everyone working through their struggles. @Terytha love the poem @mzbossy ice cream - I love it too - I KNOW it's not the same but last year I started keeping motts unsweetened applesauce in the fridge - it was actually…

Hi all new folk and hey, all those familiar names, happy to start with March, as February and January were a bit dismal for me as far as trying to maintain. I'm Sylvia,52, living south of Boston, caring for my elderly parents and working an office job. My top weight was in the mid 190's a few years ago and I'm at about 150…
-
I did it this morning before work - thanks for the link and the inspiration - I can do most anything for 15 minutes!!
-
I just looked the BHF site up - what a great resource and the walking plans look great!

I worked from home this week and it is definitely harder on my eating control. I don't really want to be back in the office full time - that'll come - but I must continue to work on home based strategies. Baking bread is NOT one of them. Well, that's wrong, I should be able to bake a loaf of 100% whole wheat bread but I…

@jugar PW 149 CW 152.5 This yoyo-ing is frustrating - I am frustrating myself. Since August! For March, I'd like to sit on the sidelines, I don't even fit into the maintenance group as I'm over the top of my range, but would like to still weigh in, wherever you want to stick me Liselyn.

Good morning, plenty of exercise waiting for me outside...5-6 inches of wet snow.
-
@jugar PW 151.5 CW 149 Maybe, just maybe, that little hidden switch in my brain has turned back on and I can focus again and not be so tempted. You've been more active than I have for the last two weeks and you've had surgery! Hope you're back on your snowshoes soon. @PlaneMonkey good for you with not just your week loss…
-
Good morning! 1 day at a time - logged everything yesterday and was within goal. No exercise but that'll come with snow shoveling soon enough.

Hi all, Not feeling very enthusiastic these last couple weeks for exercise (not even walking) and eating/logging devolves as the day goes on. BUT I did just make an enormous pot of martha stewart's veg bean soup and that's a good sign ;)
-
@jugar glad you're feeling on the upside from your surgery...every day will get better! PW 150 CW 151.5

Hi all, not a lot to write as I am trying to get back on track but thought I'd share this one....it appeals to me...of course it's not all that simple is it.
-
hi! Struggling a bit to keep from crazy eating...if I could just retrain my brain to go work on a quilting block every time I start to go to the fridge...I'd get my WIP done! No idea what the weigh in will show on Thurs. @jugar have a good day tomorrow - the day has finally come to get rid of that bump!
-
@Kali225 "chatting with my sister while we clean our apartments:" - I love this - whoever thinks to do a catch up while cleaning - perfect!! Glad you're on the other side of your slump.

@conleywoods - Great dress and great shoes on you!! love it!

Welcome Mel, although you've had a tough road healthwise, you made me laugh out loud as I recognized myself, obsessing and weighing lettuce...and I still do weigh it most times, ha ha! There is a step team which @micki48 is in charge of receiving step reports. There are also several of us with Fitbits and we will do…
