  • Sodium bicarbonate in water is an easy way to up sodium intake.
  • Sometimes I only eat once, but mostly I eat twice a day with some small snacking, usually late at night.
  • I agree with this. You should really only track calories to make sure you are getting enough and aren't possibly putting your body into starvation mode, which will burn muscle and retain fat. I'm 6'4", 197 lbs. and eat around 2300 calories. I track macros and shoot for around 144g protein, 180g fat, under 20g carbs.
  • There are plenty of healthy sugar alternatives out there that are natural. Stevia is a popular one. Not a fan of the taste. I prefer using erythritol or monk fruit, which are both delicious and can be baked with as well.

  • It depends on how you eat. I try to consume around 4 grams of sodium a day.
  • A calorie isn't a calorie. Food matters. Go eat 1 1/4 cups of sugar or go drink 1 1/4 cups of heavy cream. Both are roughly 1000 calories. One will fuel your body in a constructive way, the other, well, not so much.
