  • You might want to at swimming or water aerobics as they are much less stressful to joints. I swim about 5 miles a week and without meds have a blood pressure of 120/70. Pretty good for an old fat man. Plus, no joint injuries ro jarring. I lift weights, hike and bike too.
  • I purchased Keen hiking boots. We are looking at doing the El Camino de Santigo in 2018. I already knwo from hiking in Ireland that good waterproof hiking boots are a must.
  • Losing weight is one of the hardest things in the world to do. I am super active: I swim over 5 miles a week, spin bike in the winter and outdoors int he summer, lift weights and don't eat a lot of "bad" foods but still struggle with my weight. Hang in there. It isn't like on the TV ads. It is a complete lifestyle change…

  • Be loyal to the app. Be sure and log in everything you do and everything you eat. While it alone will not help with weight/health/training, it will make you responsible by being accountable. Good luck.
  • Exercise alone will not reduce weight. You have to eat properly as well. The real key is to stay the task. Make yourself accountable which will make you responsible. Good luck--YOU can do it!
