no final numbers yet, but my goal is 7500 for now, and as of mid day sync (vivofit) I am at 47%! Hope to make it and then some.

stay moving and lose 10lbs. Tracking my steps etc. I was extremely sedentary of late and recently started working out again.

awww bummer. Well I will keep taking it off then before bed. I want it to try to be as accurate as possible.

I just bought the vivofit yesterday. I don't use the HRM, as I don't feel I would use it much. But so far, I really like it. I couldn't connect using the mobile app this morning couldn't find the device =( so using my laptop.

I might not wear it to bed. I will probably take it off every night, since I already know I sleep poorly some nights. Will put it on every morning though.

the veggies they offer I think is corn...but will eat the meats the veggie and dessert =) don't care for the stuffing or taters.

I don't want it tracking steps if I wake up in the middle of the night for anything, so maybe I will take it off before bed like a watch.

ok on the syncing. I will do that every morning when I wake up. Not sure I will wear it for sleeping. Since I know I sleep poorly. Can the device get wet? I ask because I wash dishes at work.

Would love the Vivofit if it was cheaper. Looking now at either the zip or the Misfit Flash. I wouldn't mind something worn on the wrist.

I will start trying to eat more fruits and veggies. Like bananas, apples, carrots celery etc. Would that help?

I buy low sodium/no salt items as much as possible, like ketchup, tomato sauce, lightly salted chips etc. I also buy frozen veggies.

I ended up at 13K steps yesterday from 7am-630pm (when I take it off) as in the evenings I am less moving around. =D Thank you!!! I am considering another fitbit (had one, but didn't care for it). Not sure my pedometer is 100% accurate, but does the job.

I don't use a fitbit, I use a pedometer that tracks steps. I just used Fitbit as an example.

I am up to 6k steps today and I started wearing my pedometer around 1 pm today. I will wear it until I go to bed. I am also going to eat lighter lunches because I am always hungry in evenings and want 2nd helpings sometimes and snack.

I am leaving for work but will not sit at all. Will stay moving as much as I can.

Thank you for the kick in the butt! I needed it. Yes, laziness I am guilty of. FYI...I am at 900 steps in about 90 minutes. That's how long I been wearing my step counter. I am going to try for 2-4k steps per day to start and work my way up.
