Im trying not to. Thats the hard part. Last week the scale went down everyday. This week its went up up up and ive been doing and eating the exact same things I did the last week. Just totally discouraged me.

Im practically starving myself. Im eat 3 egg whites and a piece of whole wheat toast for breakfast, 1 cup of soup with veggies and a whole wheat shredded chicken breast with bbq sauce and a very small dinner.

I had a previous Dr tell me I was hypo. He gave me iodine supplements. Which did nothing for me. So I switched Drs. Just had blood work done and am getting a ultrasound done of my thyroid this week. Hoping he can tell me why I cant lose this weight. I lose the same 5-15lbs then gain it back. And I dont do anything…

Im trying yall. But when the scale goes down for 5lbs then goes back up to that 5lbs you lost and your still doing the same thing you did one week to the next its kinda discouraging.

@jeffpettis I have a 2 year old Son and a fiance that can eat like he has a pit in his stomach and gains no weight. We've been together 9 years and he still a small 135lbs. Lucky him huh. Im eating around 1200-1600 calories a day. I lost 4lbs in a week. So im doing something right. I have had a addiction to pepsi for 8 years and 8 days ago I kicked the habit for good. Im worried that the 4lbs I lost is due to my body getting the water it needs and that im not doing something right.

Im going going....I love walking now. The first time walking almost killed me. We live in a apartment complex and in order to get out of our parking lot you have to walk a steep hill. My helpful tip is. Go back a day on MFP and add a normal day of what you eat without dieting and see how many calories you really eat on a normal non diet day. I did this and found out I was eating 4500 calories a day. I had a addiction to pop and havent had any since I started 4 days ago. And I have lost 3lbs in 4 days. I…

I lost 3lbs in 3 days. Just counting calories and not caring about macros much. I try to add all 5 food groups to my meals. I dont pay attention to the macros. As it doesnt really matter for weight loss.

Thank you guys. I see my Dr 2morow for my ultrasound of my thyroid. Im nervous as to what hes going to say. My previous Dr said one of my T3 or T4 numbers were low and prescribed me iodine which did not work.

Trust me I know. Im losing clumps of hair, Im always tired but cant sleep, Im always cold, Headaches. You name the symptom I got it.

I went up to about 1500-1700 cals now. And we'll see how that works out. I went from 185 to 183 this morning. So its working. Im not a healthy eater. You wont see me pick up veggies all the time. But i did add them to my dinner.
