It depends on my day what time I work out, but it is always in the morning. If I have something planned in the morning I will get up around 5:30 to workout....if I don't I will wait till my daughter gets picked up for preschool and then workout around 8:30. What made it easy for me is having everything in my basement. I…

I have the charge HR and I don't ever pay attention to the heart rate on it during exercise. I find it not very accurate at all. When just doing cardio I have a Polar chest strap HR and use that just to estimate my calories burned. The only thing I really find my tracker helpful for is tracking my steps.

I have started eating them everyday for lunch just because I was in a food rut and too lazy to come up with new ideas for lunch other than chicken salad or sandwiches. Smart Ones make a really good ravioli with only 210 calories, I pair it with veggie noodles and avocado. I usually buy the lower cal ones just so I can pair…

I went to one a few years back when I was dealing with low blood sugar and fatigue. She was able to help me see that I was eating way too much protein and not enough carbs to fuel my workouts. It really changed the way I ate and I started to feel better. She gave me some sample meal plans that gave me examples of how many…

I have a spin bike that I have had for about 6 years now, I really need to replace it. Any good ideas on a moderately priced spin bike? I also have a treadmill and elliptical and love watching my shows while getting my cardio in. I should take my cardio outside but with two toddlers that can be hard to do unless I put them…

I exercise for about an hour and burn around 400 calories which bumps my calories up to 2,400. If I am more active throughout the day I can burn up to 2,600.

Small squares of dark chocolate or fun size packs of m&ms and snickers

1 hour a day 4-5 days a week with 30 min cardio and 30 min weights. Other days I may go for a 45 minute walk...outside of that I try to get 8,000-10,000 steps a day from just being active.

Oatmeal with quest protein powder, coconut flour, flax meal, blueberries and yogurt topped with cashew milk. I eat this every single morning and yet to get tired of it.

Dairy Queen Blizzards, Oatmeal cream pies, and deep dish pizza loaded with cheese

I love blizzards from Dairy Queen but I always feel blah after them, almost like a sugar rush. This is really strange but if I go out and drink quite a few drinks and eat a large amount of greasy food the next day I'm really puffy looking and everywhere on my body is sore to touch, I think it is a retaining water issue…

I really struggle with this. I have a 2 year old who will eat whatever I give him but my 3 year old is horrible. She is so picky, anything casserole or pasta she gags and almost throws up...she has some type of a texture issue. She will eat whatever I serve her but often it can be a battle. Of course she loves the not so…

I have been maintaining for years and have found that counting calories and weighing food helps termendously. Also not depriving myself of anything, if I have a night out and eat a high calorie meal of exactly what I wanted...so what...back to normal the next day. Little things I have changed in my diet -diet pop instead…

I have my FITBIT synced to MFP and I find MFP usually estimates around 50-100 calories more compared to my FITBIT. I usually go off my FITBIT for total calorie burn.

This past year my cycles went crazy. I was working out 6 days a week and eating around 2,300 a day which might have not been enough for my activity. My periods started being 2 weeks long, not really heavy but just basically spotting. I was overtrained and ignoring all they symptoms. Developed insomnia, I was crying over…

I am same height/weight as you, 34 years old and mine says I burn anywhere from 2,400-2,500 a day so that is probably right for you. I only get about 10,000 steps a day and workout out 4 days a week. I maintain on this many calories.

I was pretty thin until about middle school and things started to catch up to me. My house didn't have any healthy options. Breakfast was usually two bowls of fruity pebbles or pop tarts. Lunch was always frozen meals or butter sandwiches with ham. For dinner my parents were huge on steak, porkchops and casseroles with…

I love my wine! I used to be better at just drinking vodka and club soda with a lime because it was low calorie but I usually only drink once or twice a month so when I do I choose what really want. I also really like cranberry and vodka. I am not a big beer fan. My problem is once I start drinking then the munchies start…

I have found the more I have been incorporating treats and my cravings into my total daily calorie allowance, the less I feel the need to have a "cheat meal." Probably at least once a month I go out with my husband or friends and we have a big meal out, a couple of drinks, stay up later than we should and end the night…

Dairy Queen Cookie Dough Blizzard, Halo Top has curved that constant craving

The past three days my active minutes have not shown up as well. I usually get an extra couple hundred and the past few days it has been less than 100.

Gained 20-25 with each of my children. Was able to get back to pre-pregnancy weight pretty quickly although it took about a year to tighten everything back up and gain some of my muscle back.

I had the same question and I figured it out from others here. How many steps are you getting. My NET is 1,900 calories and it was adding 300-500 calories as well without any formal exercise. This was just from my daily activity. I am getting anywhere from 10,000-11,000 steps a day which MFP considers that active so my NET…

Thanks that answers the reason why I have so many added extra calories into my totals!

I stopped wearing my Charge 2 during my workouts because I do a lot of circuit training, spinning, elliptical, etc. and it never registered my workouts right. I do continue to wear it throughout the day. I have always thought I was really active because I was always hitting 10,000 steps or more when it included my…

For some reason whenever I just walk on my treadmill at a 3.5-3.8 pace for 40 min it will say that I burn anywhere from 250-400 cals. I just don't find that accurate at all, at times it says my heart rate will go up to 150 and on my polar it stays around 90 bpm. When I do more high intensity workouts the calorie burn seems…

My NET calories were set to 1910 when I put in lightly active. I synced my fitbit with MFP this morning for the first time. I hit 8,400 steps so far today and it bumped up my calories to 2,277. I did walk for 45 minutes on the tredmill, but took my FIT BIT off during that time because it tends to overestimate my walking…

I think its great! I took off about 2 months of any rigorous exercise and just walked for 45 minutes a day on my treadmill at a speed between 3.6-3.9 and found that I actually maintained my weight fairly easily. I really began to enjoy it as well. I was not as tired and found it more relaxing then always trying to push…

5'7 135 and I NET 1,900 calories a day to maintain. I workout 4 days a week (hour mixed with weights and cardio) and on those days I consume 2,300-2,400 a day. The other three days I keep active with brisk walking and eat around 2,100-2,200 calories. I rarely ever eat 1,900 calories because I am so active.
