I am usually done with my workouts midmorning so I just have a snack, usually a protein bar (Quest) and a banana. I should start making smoothies again because I have had a craving for them, but I am lazy!

Lift more...I love my cardio but I see better results when I am lifting heavy....oh and learn how to listen to my body better...rest when I am tired!

I am a SAHM so most of my clothes consist of just workout wear, so I do spend a little more money on them. I buy a lot from Under Armour, but I tend to get it pretty cheap at the outlet or even on Ebay. I just started Fabletics, and so far I am loving the choices and I am happy with how it fits me. As for shoes, I pay a…

I have ran ever since I was 13 and really picked up running in college. After having 2 babies I kind of sidelined running for a while and just picked it about 6 months ago. I am running 3 times a week, 3 miler, 4miler, and a 6 miler being my longest. Now of course I am dealing with a knee issue and the doc think it might…

I can get a much better workout on the elliptical compared to running, I cant push myself as hard running because of my bum knee. I recently just purchased one for my home. I still love running, but cant do as many miles as I used to be able to do, so I use the elliptical in place

A couple of splendas, sugar free vanilla syrup and a splash of unsweetened cashew milk

I'm maintaining weight, but I am working on my running. Up to three days a week, two of those days 4 miles and one of those days a longer run being 6 miles. I have to be careful because I have meniscus issues, cross training on my other workout days helps!

I love my Charge, right on accuracy with heart rate and calories burned during workout (compared with my polar heart rate monitor)

I am 5'7 and 135ish, I know for me my body cant go any less than that. When it does it lets me know. I become tired, more hungry and I usually burn out from exercise.

When I first started using my food scale, I was amazed at how off I was about portions. My two slices of bread that would state were 84 grams would be over 100 grams when weighed. Even though I maintain now, I still use it frequently when weighing meats, cereal, pasta, and grains. I have never weighed veggies. Of course…

I love them, but only the chocolate flavored ones (cookie dough, cookies and cream, chocolate peanut butter, etc) I have really taken a liking to the Oh Yeah One Cake batter bars. I usually have one a day post workout with a banana. I know real food is probably better, but I enjoy them!

Thanks for the advice, I am going to talk to Fitbit and see what they say and hope that I can get the glitch fixed!

When I worked full time I used to rely on frozen meals and deli meats on my salads. Now that I am a SAHM, I take the time to meal prep and I love it. I bake or buy a roasted chicken and use the leftovers in my salads all week long with fresh cut veggies, avocado, dried fruit and nuts. I do depend on protein bars for…

Love Optimum Nutrition's Casein protein vanilla, it makes my oatmeal and shakes super thick and works well for baking. My second choice would be Quest Peanut Butter although it is a little pricier.

I have the Fitbit Charge HR and just upgraded to the Surge. I love them both, Surge is more bulky but like it for the GPS and the option to swim with it.

I have a 1 year old and soon to be 3 year old. I currently go the gym with free childcare, but before that we just turned our basement into a mini gym. I bought a play yard and blocked off half the room. I bought some cheap weights, already had a tredmill. The kids play on the other side and I can still see them while I…

Not really, I live about 40min away and have 2 kids so it is hard to get in. I am thinking I should just schedule an MRI so I at least know what it is for sure.

I love the One Protein bars, the birthday cake vanilla is my fav. Also, Combat Crunch bars are tasty and Quest. Balance bars are much cheaper and my favorite are the Mint Chocolate Chip Patty ones, they taste like a thin mint, although they are high in sugar, 17 grams :o

I am on Lexapro 20mg. It took a good two months for me to feel the effect of the drug for my anxiety. At first it made my anxiety worse for about two weeks. I sleep much better, although some days I still have my anxiety. One thing I hate for sure is that it KILLED my sex drive, nothing! My doctor has given me 3mg of…

Just got back into running over the last two months. I have my first race in over 2 years on the 20th of August, 10k. My August running challenge is to complete my 10k as well as 35 miles. I have been running three days a week my longest run being 5 miles and my shorter runs 3-3.5 miles. I cross train the other two days on…

In my 20s I was running 7 minute miles now that I am in my 30s and I have just got back into the swing of running I am doing 11 minute miles. Often times during races I have ran I actually run slower because I am so afraid of burning out near the end, mind tricks! I hope to work on increasing my speed over the next year,…

I consider it very important part of my life. I am a SAHM to two young kids and we start everyday going to the YMCA. I feel it is the best way to start my day. I don't find that my fitness really gets in the way of my social life or my family life. I have always been known to get workouts in first thing in the morning,…
