  • Unicorn tears and the shout of a bigfoot...
  • Tincan you crack me up!
  • Well, 1) my diary is open to friends, and 2) I don't police people's diaries at all, but I do send messages when they stop logging for a few days to check on them and provide some support. I don't judge people on what they eat or how they exercise, everyone is different and that's ok. However, I do encourage people to be…
  • lol tincan! Mycophilia, you aren't punching yourself in the face! You are punching your fat in the face!!!!
  • Wow, tough crowd! If the slap is still too aggressive, perhaps we can just give the fat an intimidating glare and gentle shove? Not sure how to scale back from there, maybe a passive aggressive comment directed at the fat? Why don't you guys want to be my friend?!?!?!?!
  • Ok, so maybe you all thought kicking and punching the fat was too aggressive. How about we give the fat a forceful slap?
  • Intermittent fasting is my favorite tool for cutting fat, I fast daily 16/8 and one day a week i do a 24-hour fast (from dinner to dinner). I love it...
  • Looking to add some new friends. Been using mfp for 3 years and have lost and kept off about 50 pounds. I log daily and my diary is open. Be warned, if you add me and stop logging I will send you messages telling you to get back at it...
  • Married guy here, 36 years old. Have lost 44 pounds with MFP, I log daily and my diary is open. Feel free to add me.
  • You were told it would be hard? Whoever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about. You can absolutely lose the weight you want to. It's true that it is easier for a youngster to lose wieght, but you can do it. It's just a matter of calories out > calories in... Good luck!!!
  • I've been using MFP for about 3 years. I have lost 43 lbs. I log every day and my diary is open. Feel free to add, I enjoy communicating with others and offering support and encouragement. Also, I will send you message if you are a friend and haven't logged in a few days...
  • Its definitely a grind. It sounds like you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself. I understand because I am the same way. Sounds like swimming is a good idea, it is something you enjoy and it keeps you moving. In the beginning, just try to have more good days than bad ones. After a while, you will start seeing results…
  • The pounds definitely get more stubborn as you go... Just have to keep adjusting your calories in/calories out. Sometimes a good few days of cheating helps rev up that metabolism...
  • Avoid slim fast like the plague!
  • Are you new to IF? I have been using it for quite some time and love it!!! My BMR is pretty low, so when I am cutting fat I have to take my calories pretty low. Spreading out so little throughout the day always left me feeling hungry. With IF, I get to enjoy 2 pretty decent sized meals a day and get to leave the table…
  • Yes, and how often do people order a salad at a restaurant thinking they are making a healthy choice, only to be packing in 800 calories! MFP will show you that sometimes the steak and broccoli is the best bet!
  • Shameless bump :D
  • Add me as well!!!!
  • I sometimes cycle keto when trying to bust through plateaus. I can't seem to do it long term because my eyes get too dry and it makes wearing contacts painful. However, it is very effective for me in short bursts. Also, I don't think my wife is a huge fan off keto-breath lol...
