I'm really thinking now I'm eating too much protein- I've been eating mostly meat and cheese.

Thank you everyone for your great replies! I do eat a lot of cheese so I will take that into consideration from here on out. I guess I'm a little confused about lowering my protein and increasing the fat. What are some ways you guys do this? To me, the easiest way to do that would be cheese. It's also hard to get out of…

I believe it's 1.5 Oz for the shot glass I have.

I have one drink almost every night, maybe a couple more on the weekends. I used to love red wine but it was hindering weight loss and I felt bloated all the time. I have since switched to Titos vodka and diet cranberry mango juice. I always measure one shot in each drink. So delicious.

I do this exact thing. Ugh.

I drink quest protein powder every morning for breakfast, with water and one serving of peanut butter for extra fat and a little fiber. I mix it up in my nutribullet. It tastes awesome and fills me up until lunch.

The wine too? ;)

Is Inositol the vitamin you shouldn't take if you're also on birth control pills (which I am)? I thought I read that in the PCOS forum. Could be wrong...

I've never cooked clams, I will check it out! I live in Maine, so getting well-priced seafood isn't hard. I just miss veggie burgers. Too many carbs :D

I am on 10mg of Lexapro and doing LCHF for PCOS and insulin resistance. It is coming off slowly, but I attribute that to the wine that I refuse to give up  I think I would rather have less anxiety and lose slowly than suffer from crippling anxiety that I have if I’m not on meds. Good luck to you, keep us posted on…

I take vitamin d, b12, super b complex, and fish oil. All from nature made because I buy them in bulk at BJ's.

I have pcos and am insulin resistant. I'm still trying to lose 30 pounds of baby weight (baby is now 2!), and eat a very low carb diet. Would love to add you! I definitely get your struggle; it seems like my symptoms have gotten worse as I get older (I'm 34).
