I live in Edinburgh and London, but I've had to move up to Aberdeen to work on client site, and it seems like I'll be here foreverrrrrrr! At least I get to work from home on Fridays, which is why I currently haven't left my bed (which also means my diet is going well today because I haven't made it to the kitchen as of yet)

If you are having a bad down day, it is so easy to turn to food. But it turns into an endless cycle, because I am now unhappy with my fitness level, I don't feel like myself anymore! 21 days to break a habit (although that 21 days does include Christmas you know!!) On an unrelated note, I attempted to go the gym yesterday.…

@livingyoung28 That is so awful, I am only 24 and I know that I haven't reached my potential yet, and I imagine her son too had so much more left to do and see, to have it so suddenly be taken away. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I had a pretty bad day today, and had to physically stop myself from eating the rest of my advent calendar chocolate (because I don't have any other treats in the house).

Even though I missed yesterday, This week I am aiming to think before I eat. Am I hungry or bored??? Also drink my target water each day, and log everything even if its over my limit

Hello, Just joined the group. I used to be really into the gym, but new job, new city (where travelling anywhere is a nightmare, let alone the gym) and a boyfriend that likes to cook and eat out has meant I've put on a stone quicker than I'd like to admit. I am currently up on a client site during the week, which means…

800 calories a day is not healthy long term, and you definitely won't be able to stick to it because you will be hungry and craving food ALL the time! However the 5:2 diet is fasting 2 of the days, so you only eat 500 calories (which really isn't a lot) but the rest of the day you can eat normally, so you are still staying…

I have IBS too, I thought it was gluten and lactose that made it act up, but I've discovered I'm actually just gluten intolerant, and the gluten was making me feel sick with lactose too, But now I've gotten rid of gluten, I can drink milk! It's weird how these things work,

Maybe you could try a diet like the 5:2 diet, where you fast for 2 days of the week and then eat as you would normally for the rest of the 5 days. This might help you with motivation, because its easier to diet 2 days of the week, even if it is very strict, but could also help with portion control and your relationship…

You can get sick from drinking too much water, but at 2L a day you are nowhere near getting ill from it. I started drinking 3L a day and you will need to pee all the time, but you will come to find that a lot of the time you were hungry, you were actually just thirsty. Drinking water helps you lose weight, clears your…
