“The best project you will ever work on is you!” Happy Wednesday

Yes, yes and yes Interesting discussion. Fear does not really work for me. It really has to be an internal decision because I have decided this is the right thing to do based on a variety of factors.

Yes, yes and yes I too agree with this one. I am in a downward trend with my weight, letting go of recent gain from the past year or two. I feel better which is what is most important and I like how my clothes are fitting which is also great. I trust on some level that my body will tell me where it wants to settle.

Pass Day #3 First two pass days were a result of being unusually happy. On this third pass day, I was unusually sad. Looking back on this is making me reflect on how emotions affect my eating. Something for me to consider and address. Also I weigh daily and simply see it as a tool.

Yes, yes and yes Thanks for the intro topic. I have found it interesting reading everyone's posts.

Yes, yes and yes Morning walking was my primary exercise. I started a strength workout but was called away in the middle of it and never got back to it. I also managed a few push-ups and an evening dog walk.

Yes, yes and yes Walking. It was a slow day as I was quite tired and low on energy.

Exercise yes but no to tracking. It was a social event and the food was too complicated to track. Pass Day #1

Yes, yes and yes I am late to post but it working out to my advantage because I can read everyone's posts and their goals. Some of these inspire me to do the same. For me in October... Read every post when possible (I learn so much!) Drop a few more pounds if the body allows it Meditation practice (increase my consistency)…

Yes, yes and yes We have out of town company and I am working on maintaining a healthy balance in my life as I tend to be knocked off balance as soon as my normal routine is disrupted. Somehow I got into the 'zone' this past month and dropped seven pounds which is part of the creep from the past year or two. I have about…

Yes, yes and yes I use the Apple Watch/Fitness app. I focus mostly on completing circles vs steps. I set my own goal levels and if I complete my circles, I am in pretty good shape for the day. And the Sept monthly challenge for me is 7 miles a day. I remember being intrigued when I saw my boss wearing an Apple watch a long…

Yes, yes and yes Walking and push-ups No winners circle for me but I am still happy with the progress I have made this month.

Yes, yes and yes Walking and a lot of activity around the house @Healthymumlife What a lovely picture! @LazyBlondeChef I can't say we have a Sunday traditional meal or do anything beyond the normal but it was really nice reading about what everyone else is doing.

Yes, yes and yes AM walking Took an easy day as I got the shingles vaccine. My husband had a poor reaction so I was not sure what to expect. For me, all day headache eventually followed by fever and chills. They gave me a flu shot at the same time and in retrospect, I am not sure this was the best thing for my body.…

Yes, yes and yes AM and PM walking, push-ups and stretching About exercise I can’t say that I am a natural exerciser but I do enjoy walking and hiking. I was just reading in the forum about someone saying that they only do activities that are fun for them. I had to think about this since I have often tried to force myself…

Happy Wednesday! Studies show that who you surround yourself with influences your behavior. Being part of the UAC Challenge is a great way to have supportive health minded and positive people on your ‘team’! I continue to be inspired daily when I read through the posts. Knowing that others are going through the same…

Yes, yes and yes Walking and push-ups and a bit of a weight workout

Yes, yes and yes Walking, push-ups and setting up for a Sunday night outdoor concert (work) @LazyBlondeChef I appreciate the call out for those of still working. Last year, until she passed, I was caring for my mom and working and that was especially challenging - hence the weight creep over the past couple of years. I…

Yes, yes and yes Walking, HIIT and stretching I typically eat a mix of roasted veggies with olive oil for dinner. And plenty of fruit during the day. Today, however, I tried a new recipe that focused on roasted root veggies - beets, carrots, parsnips, garlic and onions mixed in with olive oil and rosemary. It was delicious.

Yes, yes and yes NSV I am adding to the grandparent comments. I am feeling really appreciative of being a grandparent that can get down on the floor or sit in the sandbox to play. I am so grateful for being physically (and comfortably) able to get down and be at my granddaughter's level.

Yes, yes and yes Walking. Need to commit to do more but today was a busy day so I will be grateful for what I could do. It is a nice list. Thanks for posting as it is quite motivating.
