Calorie goal is good Matt, for faster results, try up your Protein and decrease your Carbs. Aim for about 60-80g protein and 25-30g carbs to start. Remember to drink lots if water. You can plan your drink days too. Let me know how it goes for you. I'm down almost 7

I'm almost 59. I'm down 70lbs, and have about 30-40 to go. I have so much more energy now and just a brighter outlook on life. So many things I want to do that I couldn't because of the weight. We have the power now.

I have been on a low carb duet since Sept. I'm down almost 70 lbs. but from a healthcare point if view, it's important that our bodies have some carbs daily. A lower, 25g of carbs per day is good for 2 week induction, after that, 30-50g is more healthy. If you are to low, long term you can cause kidney damage. See a doctor…
